A $10k Grant for Africa’s Fintech builders

Africa’s fintech story has officially entered a more complex chapter.

The first wave of financial technology on the continent was about digitizing payments, onboarding millions of users, and proving that consumers would trust digital financial services. The next wave is decidedly more technical. Today’s ecosystem demands profitability, infrastructure resilience, strict compliance, liquidity, and seamless cross-border experiences. <br />

Against that backdrop, Breet, a cryptocurrency payment infrastructure platform known across West Africa for its automated crypto-to-fiat settlements has announced a $10,000 equity-free grant programme for African builders working across fintech, crypto, stablecoins, and payments. <br />

● Product already launched or in active market use <br />

● Clear growth potential and commercial use case <br />

● Readiness to integrate Breet’s API<br />

● Availability to pitch at Africa Technology Expo 2026 <br />

The timing of this grant is notable. Raising capital is demonstrably harder than it was two years ago, and founders are under immense pressure to show stronger fundamentals and clear paths to revenue.
